Labouchere System
The Labouchere strategy has some others names: Spilt Martingale, The Cross-Out or The Cancellation System. Beside of it is called the James Bond system because you can find its description in Ian Fleming books. We don’t know the names of the most part of the popular roulette strategies we play today, but the man who has created this system is the Englishman Henry Labouchere.
Here are the basic principals of the system. You need to write down any sequence of numbers you wish, for instance it is following: 2.3.4.5.6.
The sum of the first bet you make will be equal to the sum of two digits: the first and the last from the row. Using our sequence we have 2 and 6, so we bet 8. Then if you lose this time you need to add the size of your bet to the original sequence you use, now we have 2.3.4.5.6.8. In order to determine the sum of your next bet you need to repeat again the scheme, so you have 2+8 and you bet 10. And again if you win you need to reject the first and last digits, in that way you will have 3.4.5.6 consequence. Then you repeat the procedure according to the results, when you cross all the initial numbers you can start the next consequence.
In theory you win the total amount of the combined numbers which make the first sequence at some period of time but anyway it will happen before you cancel the last number.
The key point of the strategy is you should understand that you can’t improve the probability, but you have a nice method for the play. The best way is to write down any sequence of events and count your accumulated possible profit or loss. It will help you to invent your sequence of numbers which will be especially good for you. If you wish to avoid risks, it’s better to start the sequence from 1, in that case the bets will be not too high.
Remember when you decide to play roulette according to some system that the strategy is not the guarantee of your win. Certainly you increase your chances to get the payout, but don’t dream about some great jackpot. The chances to win are pretty high and at the most part of cases you will win some money, but don’t be too enthusiastic about it.
